POI WIP
Here is what I've started so far with my POI (I just went ahead and started with the colors). The bar area is below the booth and the stage is off-screen to the right. I need to dress it up with details and make it look more art deco.
I hope this can be helpful for someone! And if anyone has suggestions I'd like to hear them!

POI Week 2—Tonal paintings
Alright, so it sounds like we are in agreement for the POI? Yes? Now we
should think up the important/interesting features of the environment
and have each group member design one feature.

Point of Interest
Hey guys! I was wondering if there was any discussion on what location we're choosing as our POI for the homework? If not--hoping to start one here since we're already cutting it pretty close to tonight's deadline.
Of the environments we already have, the best locations for a POI seem to be the Diner or Bar since the other locations are places our protagonist probably doesn't want to be in constantly (hotel, Knickerbocker's office, etc.).

Some more story beat ideas
I don't know if anyone will read this in time, but I'll throw out some more story beat ideas if anyone still needs one.
- The scene I'm thinking of doing: Tom is captured by Paladin and other henchmen,. Tom is tied to a chair in a dark room with a spotlight overhead, and the henchmen are standing around him with guns and switchblades.
- From the chair scene, Tom gets rescued somehow? Or he fights his way out?
- In the hotel murder scene, maybe a hotel maid sees Tom near the body and calls the police
- The part when Paladin looks at Tom and quickly escapes out the window
- One of the hero characters gets shot and killed
- The first time Tom sees the Dame, she is singing at the nightclub
- Tom runs through the streets to get away from cops
- Generic gun battles and fist fights
- Mr. Knickerbocker steps out of his car, and we see his face for the first time in the story

Story Beats
Yo! This is Kimilyn--sorry I missed yesterday's class in case you guys discussed anything for our project. Anyways, since we need to do story beats for this week's assignment, I was thinking we should establish character roles and figure out some scene ideas here or in the google doc maybe?
I'm not too clear on the roles of each character, so I don't really know where to start. ^^;; And it would be nice for everyone's work to fit together story-wise as a whole~

This week's reference sheet assignment
Hi, this is Terrance. I assume we are all designing the same characters, props, and locations to which we were assigned when we began the project. The problem I have is that my prop is the subway, which is more of a location, and I need to do a reference sheet of a character holding and using a prop.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I was hoping we could outline the plot and characters some more so we all know we are working to the same goal.

Put Visual Development Images Here
It sounds like we wanted to go with Sam's concepts of the buildings made of wrecked train parts in an abandoned train yard.
